What a celebration!! Our sincere gratitude goes to Toronto’s great former Mayor David Crombie for attending the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association's 40th Anniversary celebration on February 14th, 2023 at St. Lawrence Hall.
The incredible St. Lawrence Neighbourhood was made possible because of David Crombie's leadership over 40 years ago. Special notes of gratitude also go to Lindsay Zier Vogel who created #theloveletteringproject 19 years ago and partnered with us to generate an inspiring letter writing movement here in the St. Lawrence. We now have hundreds of letters from residents and visitors that give glimpses of joyful experiences lived in this neighbourhood! . A huge note of gratitude is extended to the students and staff from St. Michael’s Catholic Elementary School, Market Lane Public School and the Downtown Alternative School who came to the St. Lawrence Hall today to write their love letters to the community! 💕. Remember to look for these letters throughout the neighbourhood and take a selfie with one of the large outdoor SLNA letters scattered throughout the community 💕 Post the picture on Instagram with the hashtags #lovelettering #slna40 and add our handle - @stlawrencetoronto - by doing so you could be eligible to win one of the weekly $100 Gift Certificates being given away by @oldtowntoronto over the next 6 weeks.
