TONIGHT: SLNA Community Meeting - Nov. 24 - 7 p.m.
The next SLNA Meeting will take place TONIGHT, November 24th at 7 p.m. on Zoom (see connection details below). The agenda follows:
**Attention All SLNA Delegates** A motion will be introduced at the upcoming November 24 Community meeting to obtain Delegate approval of the SLNA Budget for 2022. Here is the budget, which received Board approval on November 10. Please review prior to the meeting, if you can. Again in 2021, due to continuing Covid-19 restrictions, the Association did not spend all of the budgeted funds, resulting in an operating surplus. The Budget for 2022 is very similar, and is based on the expectation that the restrictions on activities will not be as severe. You'll also recall that next year is SLNA's 40th Anniversary, so additional funds have been budgeted for one or more celebratory events. Note that no fee increases are planned for 2022, and the Budget reflects that. The Board has discussed fee increases beyond 2022, and will be engaging Delegates in that conversation in the new year. If you are unable to attend the November meeting (or even if you are) and you wish to record your approval/objection of the budget in advance, please communicate this in an email to [email protected] .
