Participatory Budgeting Process Deadline

Following are slides explaining the 2023 Ward 13 Participatory Budgeting Process that were shared at Councillor Moise’s information session last May.

The deadline for our area’s resident feedback into this segment of the budget development process is the end of October so we are sharing the following information to help support more participation from our neighbourhood.

5 steps to vote in the Participatory Budgeting Process:

Register to Toronto Centre Projects and understand the instructions listed under “Phases”
Understand that each individual has an allotted budget of $750,000 to select items
See the top left of the voting box says “$750,000/$750,000”
As you select items (i.e. $500,000 + $100,000 = $150,000 remainder), your budget will decrease. Try to select as many as possible within the $750,000 bracket.
Last but not least, hit submit when you’re ready!

St. Lawrence CRC - Halloween Candy Headquarters

This Halloween, October 31st, families in the St. Lawrence neighbourhood are invited to take their children to visit the St. Lawrence Community Recreation Centre (230 The Esplanade) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as volunteers from the St. Lawrence CRC Advisory Council will be handing out candy at the front door area of the Centre.
