 Ward 10 & 13 Joint Budget Town Hall: January 16 City of Toronto Public Deputations: January 17 and 18 From the office our Ward 13 City Councillor Chris Moise: Councillor Chris Moise is hosting a Joint Budget Town Hall with fellow City Councillor of Ward 10 - Spadina - Fort York, Ausma Malik. All Ward 10 and Ward 13 residents are welcome to attend to ask questions about the City of Toronto's 2023 budget, and let the Councillors know their thoughts on it. Video conference details to come soon - physical location details for in-person meeting below: Ward 10 and 13 Joint Budget Town Hall Date: Monday, January 16th, 2023 Location: Toronto City Hall, Committee Room #4 and online Time: 6:00PM - 8:00PM The City Budget draft is launched every January, and many of the services budgeted for may not reflect the will of each resident. Councillor Moise wants to hear from Toronto Centre residents about what your thoughts are, what you support, and what you don’t. CITY OF TORONTO BUDGET PROCESS There are three phases to the budget process, including:
 Our Councillors want to hear from residents before the approval phase and to voice your opinions at the City. Residents are encouraged to sign up for public deputations on January 17, 2023, and January 18, 2023, to speak to the Budget Committee. However, we recognize this is not always accessible or plausible for residents, so we have included a space for comments on our platform. You can leave your comments below during Phase 2 - Public Deputations after January 10. The SLNA Waste Reduction Group is excited to announce that the 6th REmarket has been scheduled for January 25-26, 2023. Get ready to clean out those closets! The post-holiday season is the perfect time to do a little early spring cleaning. As always, we will be accepting a wide range of items for donation.
