Waterfront Revitalization - Next Phase
You are invited to participate in the next phase of Toronto’s waterfront revitalization! Over the last 20 years, policy and project priorities for waterfront revitalization have been informed by public consultation and stakeholder engagement. The vision for Toronto's waterfront was last brought to the public in the 2000’s as part of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Task Force Report. We are looking for your input to help shape a renewed vision that sets a path forward for what Toronto will achieve along its 43 km waterfront, from Etobicoke to Scarborough, including anticipated economic development, social equity and environmental outcomes. Your feedback will be a key input for City, Provincial and Federal decision-makers in addressing shared public policy outcomes for our waterfront. The results of this process and a renewed vision will be summarized in a report to Executive Committee in spring 2022. Project Area This project is reviewing the vision for the 43 km stretch between Etobicoke in the west, and Scarborough in the east, and includes all of the waterfront communities across the City of Toronto.
