  • May 7 & 8: Adults 18+ who live or work in all hotspots on Friday, May 7 from 10 am – 9pm and Saturday, May 8 from 10am – 7pm at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School – 23 George St. Walk-ins only, no appointments required. Details
  • May 7 for May 8-14: West Park Healthcare Centre (82 Buttonwood Avenue, York) will accept bookings for adults 18+ in postal codes M6M, M6N, M9N, M9A, M9B, M9C, M8V, and M6K starting May 7th, 10 am via online and walk-in. Details

Ontario Place Turns 50!

Join the Celebration

Thursday, May 13th at 7:00 pm EDT

Ontario Place will be 50 years old on May 22, 2021.  Ontario Place for All, together with the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario and the Future of Ontario Place Project, is celebrating its local, provincial, national, and international importance at a virtual rally on Thursday, May 13th at 7:00 pm EDT.

  • MPP Chris Glover, Ontario Place's provincial representative, talk about how Ontario Place has shaped the province's identity. 
  • Toronto Councillor Joe Cressy, Ontario Place’s local representative, will discuss the importance of Ontario Place to local public health.
  • Ken Greenberg of Ontario Place for All will share stories of the amazing ways people have relied on Ontario Place during the pandemic.
  • Aziza Chaouni from the Daniels Faculty of Architecture at U. of T. will share how the Future of Ontario Place Project's design challenge raised national appreciation for Ontario Place.
  • Javier Ors Austin, Program Manager at World Monuments Fund will explain how Ontario Place received international recognition with its inclusion on the Fund’s prestigious Watch List. 
  • We have invited a representative of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, Lisa MacLeod and the recently appointed Special Advisor to Ontario Place, Mark Saunders, to speak as well.
  • Fun 50th-anniversary celebration ideas from students at the Daniels School of Architecture, UofT.
