The hotel’s beautiful event room by the restaurant was the lovely environment for meeting neighbours over drinks and nibbles and welcoming our local MPPs Kristyn Wong-Tam (Ward 13) and Chris Glover (Ward 10) who presented an anniversary proclamation to the SLNA. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn a bit about what makes the St. Lawrence so historic courtesy of SLNA President Stewart Linton who held our attention with interesting historic facts and stories. We want to thank all those who attended and encourage all residents in the neighbourhood to ensure that their building or home association is registered as a member of the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association (www.slna.ca). The larger are membership grows, the more effective our advocacy efforts become and the more informed we become with the input and support of engaged residents.
