The St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association is speaking out on the recent decision made by Mayor Tory and endorsed by our Councillor, Lucy Troisi to permit overnight construction in downtown neighbourhoods south of Dundas St.
This decision was made without consultation with the 30,000 residents of the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood nor any of the other 240,000 residents who call Toronto's downtown core home. We hope this was an oversight that can and will be corrected. Below is the letter that was issued to Councillor Troisi today. We encourage all residents to contact Councillor Troisi ([email protected]) and Mayor Tory ([email protected]) today.

Why isn't the SLNA asking that this new rule be rescinded immediately pending actual public consultation?

Up to now I believed that, more-less, we were living in “Toronto the GOOD”. Over night it has turned into a “Toronto the City of BULLIES.

Just on my block alone we have lived through 5 condo builds over the last 7 years. We are suffering from condo fatigue. We have endured 7 years of hearing trucks backing into these sites with their high pitched “beep, beeps” from 3:30 am onwards.

Angel Narick constant complaining about her neighbourhood and neighbors lies somewhere else ! She is trap in very unhappy marriage and she is channeling her bitterness by GOSSIPING AND COMPLAINING most of the time about people she knows, her son's school and place she live ......... very sad.
