Canada Day is special in our neighbourhood. Maybe it's because people who choose to live here care greatly about quality of life and community...maybe it's because the world's best farmers market - the St. Lawrence Market! - is in our neighbourhood...or maybe it's because we have one of the most dynamic and supportive building improvement areas in the city (Old Town Toronto).
We know Canada Day is special here for all the reasons above and so many more that make the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood such a welcoming and vibrant place to call home. On Sunday, July 1 we invite you to join your neighbours, friends and family to celebrate our great country and the life we live here at the annual St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association Canada Day Parade & Picnic. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Berkeley St. and The Esplanade and end at St. James Park where there will be live bands (you will really enjoy), freshly prepared and delicious food from the St. Lawrence Market, face painting and activities for children and many other ways to celebrate our nation's birthday and the beautiful community we live in. Click here to download the flyer and post in your building or copy and share with neighbours.

As visitors, staying in the hotel opposite the park, we were pleasantly surprised to see the celebrations for Canada Day being prepared there.

Thanks, Garlands, for joining us and your kind words. I wish you all the best during your remaining days away from Jersey, and safe home.
