STREET: The Bentway's Summer Season

From the Bentway Conservancy

Hello neighbours,

I hope you're all doing well!  We are very excited to share details about our upcoming STREET season which, in the tradition of The Bentway, reconsiders the role of the street and asks how our roadways can better perform as public spaces supporting improvisation, innovation, and action.

The Street Summit which is a 2-day public event on May 27th and 28th that assembles citizens, urbanists, designers, researchers, city-builders and artists alike to consider how we can challenge traditional understandings of city streets. Think conference meets workshop meets art project meets the underside of the highway!

Bodies in Urban Spaces, taking place from May 26th-28th is a performance on the run, where a group of dancers explore the city streets and surrounding architecture to reveal the unseen urban fabric.
