While more homes are definitely needed, they should not come at the expense of our Heritage resources across this province. Read SLNA's Letter to Premier Ford. Here is a current petition sponsored by the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario. Last 2 weeks for Jamii's Photo Exhibition Since June, the St. Lawrence neighbourhood has been home to a photo exhibition featuring the work of Indigenous artist, Nadya Kwandibens. The photo exhibition, produced and unveiled by Jamii on National Indigenous Peoples Day June 21, 2022, is a selection of 8 portraits from the wider series called “The Red Chair Sessions”. Click on the image below to watch the Jamii video featuring Nadya to learn more about “The Red Chair Sessions” and how this initiative showcases Indigenous Peoples inextricable relationships to the land, ancestral bloodlines and waterways through a striking series of portraits. Visit the photo exhibition next time you are walking on The Esplanade! It will be presented in David Crombie Park (The Esplanade & Princess St) until the middle of December!
