The SLNA Waste Reduction Group is hosting its 12th REmarket event on January 29th and 30th, 2025
 
This event has a direct and tangible impact on both the environment and the social welfare of our local communities. Be a part of our movement and participate in this great effort to recycle, reuse and reduce rather than discard.

New Year's Eve Event

FROM THE CITY OF TORONTO:

Ring in the New Year with a free, memorable evening featuring pop-up performances and a dazzling midnight fireworks display.

The celebration kicks off on December 31 at 10 p.m. with fireworks at midnight, visible from anywhere with a view of Toronto’s inner harbour.

There are no fireworks at City Hall or Nathan Phillips Square.

• Sherbourne Common, 61 Dockside Dr. 
  • Dance lessons by Dance Together Festival 
  • Pop-up circus performances by INCIRQUE 
• Toronto Music Garden, 476 Queens Quay W. 
  • View short films from the National Film Board of Canada  projected onto the side of the Canada Malting Silos
  • Pop-up circus performances by INCIRQUE
  • Stage show with DJ performance by Traxx & Feels  and countdown at 11:45 p.m. hosted by drag sensation Sanjina DaBish Queen

​Free TTCThe TTC is offering free service on New Year’s Eve from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. Plan your trip .
Union StationTo prevent overcrowding in Union Station following the fireworks, all TTC customers will be directed to line up on Bay Street, south of Front Street.
Accessible entry will be maintained on Bay Street and through the Bay Promenade inside the station.

• Last train from Union Station to Finch Stations leaves at 2:31 a.m.
• Last train from Union Station to Vaugh Metropolitan Centre Station leaves at 2:27 a.m.

TTC riders are encouraged to consider using alternate stations such as King, Queen, St. Andrew and Osgoode to avoid crowds at Union Station.
