The purpose of their campaign, called Reality Check, is to protect Toronto’s Inner Harbour from the proposed expansion of the Billy Bishop Airport. You can help by demanding answers from your federal elected representatives and asking that they help stop the undemocratic expansion of Toronto's Island Airport. Collectively, the campaign has already sent over 500 letters to local MPs via the Reality Check website. The St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Association is a founding member of both Waterfront For All and No Jets TO and, unless and until the case is properly made and supported, remains opposed to the most recent proposal from the Provincial government to expand the Billy Bishop airport to accommodate jets, driving a related significant increase in passenger traffic.
